In the refined formula of a saxophone / piano duet, Sébastien Vallé and Sébastien Muller confront their speeches in a vast labyrinth of sound, drawing their inspiration from the heart of jazz history. An invitation to enter the corridors of research and questioning.

Here is three live excerpts from the concert at the Jazzdor Festival 2011 “musiques en chantier #1”. The pianist Sébastien Valle and myself are playing my own composition: “Formes transitoires” ; two jazz standards: “Lonely Woman” from Ornette Coleman, and “Bemsha Swing” from Thelonious Monk.
