Description

“Le Bal de la 25ème Heure” is the eponymous album recorded in 2009. The band is a quartet with saxophone, guitar, accordion and drums, and offers here rearranged and improvised versions of Federico Fellini’s compositions heard in Nino Rota’s films.
The tunes of Rota are kneaded, distorted, exploded … in a music where improvisation explodes and puts itself at the service of the Fellinian universe. Thus, throughout the show, we meet “Zampano and his chains”, the women of “Amarcord”, the henchmen of the Maffia …
In energies oscillating between rock and popular ball, the band offers a burlesque music of contrasts and surprises!
